General Overview
Ultra Blue Glow Paint is a durable, long lasting, solvent-based acrylic
phosphorescent paint that has a bright, unique blue glow.
Brightness and Duration
Ultra Blue Glow in the Dark Paint, although not as bright as its Green
counterpart, is still an extremely bright glow in the dark paint. It is 5
times brighter than the popular green zinc-based glow in the dark products
available in most department stores. Technically, it will continue to glow
for days. But us humans can see it for about 12 hours after a full charge.
Each gallon contains two pounds of the brightest blue glow in the dark pigment
available.

Color
Ultra Blue Glow Paint actually glows blue with a green tint.
Daytime Color, Opacity, Transparency, and Translucence
The Ultra line of products are translucent when in a lit room and glow
brightly after a charge in a dark room. This means they are almost
unnoticeable during the day when painted thinly and consistently. Since
the paint does have a slight white tint, it is even more unnoticeable on light
or white surfaces. Thicker applications or those on a dark background will
still be translucent, but more noticeable. There is no such product as a
"daytime transparent" glow paint as you may have seen advertised. But the
Ultra and our other lines marked "almost clear" are relatively close to
transparent when used properly. For a more opaque color in a lit room,
consider our "Daytime" series.

Paint Properties
Glow Inc.'s brand of glow in the dark paint is a custom formula designed to
maximize brightness in a durable all-purpose paint. The engineers included
a suspension system that supports the relative dense glow in the dark particles.
It contains no fillers or impurities such as ultraviolet filters, which
interfere with glow pigment. As a solvent-based acrylic, it is extremely durable for indoor and outdoor use
and has strong adhesion to almost all surfaces. Drying time is between
10-15 minutes, but should be allowed to cure overnight.
Our paints are created by mixing the raw pigment (glow powder) with the
custom designed paint in a ratio of 2 lbs of glow in the dark pigment to 1
gallon of paint. This high ratio along with the high clarity medium
results in the brightest glow in the dark paint sold on the planet.
Shipping
Solvent-based paints are considered a Flammable Material by the US Department
of Transportation. Therefore, there are strict guidelines for shipping
that depend on quantity.
1. Special packaging is required and will be added to your shipping
total.
2. We can not ship paint internationally without costly hazmat
packaging and procedures.
3. Quantities up to 1 fluid ounce can be be shipped via air or ground.
4. Quantities between 1 fluid ounce and 1 quart must be sent via
ground.
5. Quantities above 1 quart must be sent via freight.
6. Purchases of a gallon are sent as 4 separate quart packages.
