General Overview
Daytime Yellow Glow Paint is a durable, long lasting, solvent-based acrylic
phosphorescent paint that has both a vibrant fluorescent pure yellow color in a
lit room and a green-yellow glow in a darkened room.
Please note: Daytime colors are named after their color in a lit room,
not their glow color.
Brightness and Duration
Although not as bright as our Ultra line, our Daytime Yellow is fairly bright
in both daytime and in the dark. It continues to glow for about 3 hours
from a full charge.

Color
Daytime Yellow is an opaque fluorescent pure yellow in a lit room.
When glowing it is a green-yellow color also known as lime.
Daytime Color, Opacity, Transparency, and Translucence
The Daytime line of products are opaque when in a lit room and glow
brightly after a charge in a dark room. This means they will be easily
seen during the day and will most likely cover any paint or color underneath
them. For a more translucent color in a lit room,
consider our "Ultra" series.
Chemical Makeup
The raw glow pigment is: Alkaline Rare Earth Metal Silicate-Aluminate Oxide
Europium Doped with a Fluorescent Yellow Color Dye
Paint Properties
Glow Inc.'s brand of glow in the dark paint is a custom formula designed to
maximize brightness in a durable all-purpose paint. The engineers included
a suspension system that supports the relative dense glow in the dark particles.
It contains no fillers or impurities such as ultraviolet filters, which
interfere with glow pigment. As a solvent-based acrylic, it is extremely durable for indoor and outdoor use
and has strong adhesion to almost all surfaces. Drying time is between
10-15 minutes, but should be allowed to cure overnight.
Our paints are created by mixing the raw pigment (glow powder) with the
custom designed paint in a ratio of 2 lbs of glow in the dark pigment to 1
gallon of paint. This high ratio along with the high clarity medium
results in the brightest glow in the dark paint sold on the planet.
Shipping
Solvent-based paints are considered a Flammable Material by the US Department
of Transportation. Therefore, there are strict guidelines for shipping
that depend on quantity.
1. Special packaging is required and will be added to your shipping
total.
2. We can not ship paint internationally without costly hazmat
packaging and procedures.
3. Quantities up to 1 fluid ounce can be be shipped via air or ground.
4. Quantities between 1 fluid ounce and 1 quart must be sent via
ground.
5. Quantities above 1 quart must be sent via freight.
6. Purchases of a gallon are sent as 4 separate quart packages.
